The whole process of health promotion will entail a number of activities for successful implementation, and these will include the following (CDC, n.d).
Problem identification and validation-this involve identifying the issue among the Navajo community and establishing its relevance. It will be the first step of project implementation and will take place within the first two weeks.
Stakeholders’ engagement-this is the identification of all shareholders necessary for health promotions and project implementation, and they include the Navajo leadership team, Navajo health department, and private entities. This will be done in the first week after problem identification. The engagement will also select team leaders and segregate duties as project activities require.
Geographical survey-This is the first step of program implementation that will be done by a section of team members and will be immediately after stakeholders’ engagement. The team will be responsible for the mapping transportation system in the Navajo community.
Attending chapter meetings-To be accomplished by the elected team and entails moving to communities and attaining the necessary permission to process with the project.
Public mobilization- This is the initiation of actual project enactment and entails making the public aware of the project and other necessary briefs like time and resources needed.
Project enactment-Involves the actualization of all project strategies that target health projects such as public education and engaging the public to embrace physical activity. The project is expected to take at least six months to complete.
