As the human resource manager, how would you evaluate the training needs of your staff?
I would undertake a training needs assessment or analysis to determine my staff’s training requirements. A training needs analysis for an organization focuses on its goals and objectives before establishing the tasks and people needed to fulfill them (Lacarenza et al., 2018). It gathers some basic information about employees’ starting places to equip them with the resources they need to meet the company’s goals.
How can you ensure that the training you would provide is effective? What data might be used to make your conclusion?
A successful training program never ends, and the training cycle doesn’t end until the effectiveness of the training is reviewed, which leads to decision-making and future training planning (Lacarenza et al., 2018). As a result, as part of the overall training approach, a realistic and helpful evaluation program should be included. As a result, I’ll use a range of strategies and tools, such as Kirkpatrick’s Four-Level Model of Evaluation, to assess the training’s efficacy.
