In the Philippines, the government is headed by the president, and another authority is equally distributed among the government branches, including the legislative, executive, and judiciary. The president serves a term of six years as head of state and cannot further be elected for a second time (Dadios et al., 2018). On the other hand, the government of Malaysia is headed by a Prime Minister. The Prime minister serves as the head of the government for five years, and they can further be re-elected once again.
