Introduction
The crisis is not a situation to anticipate when it can happen. Individuals can be tempted to think that a crisis can’t occur, but it can occur at any time. The most important thing is thorough preparation since when a crisis occurs, the response effectiveness determines the magnitude of the damage. Moreover, this crisis communication plan is supplemental to the fictional town of Bobsville.
Purpose
This is to offer support to the accurate information provision on facilities arrangement, safety, community’s image along with its organization as well as its citizens to target the audiences in a manner that is timely.
Objective
To be perceived by the news media as an organization that is community focused that cares about its students as well as employees and stakeholders genuinely.
Key publics/stakeholders
These include the entire communication complex i.e cable broadband,radio station and the telecommunications,the sheriff,the emergency manager,the investors,the general public ,the partners , the social media followers,employees,Board of Trustees,Area School Boards,Administrators,Employees,County Commission and The Local City Councils,stakeholders(Community members,General Public and Taxpayers),students both commuting,on-campus and online,legal representation,vendors and suppliers,Chambers of Commerce,Education Center Administrators,Foundation Board of Directors,competitors ,children’s parents at the Child Development Center,Education Consortium Members,local and the states news media.
System for notifying key publics
The following is the preferred approaches to reach out to the aforementioned stakeholders/key publics in the fictional town of Bobsville alongside the parties that are responsible for reaching them.Further,one or more hybrids of the system can be considered depending on the crisis.The list is not a hard as well as fast rule.Its just a guide which is made purposely to help the Bobsville town crisis communication team to leave no stone which is unturned.
