APIL’s cultural weakness
There are a few cultural weaknesses in this company. For instance, the company emphasizes more o value orientation and neglects customer orientation in its workforce. Issues such as customer safety, health, products/service affordability are not well emphasized (Soomro and Shah, 2019). The reward system also uses a short-term approach to motivate employees to improve their cultural competence instead of a long-term approach, generally affecting its strategy. The open communication culture support engagement and participation of employee, but it can also lead to consuming a lot of time in the decision-making process in some cases (Shymko, 2018).
